Chris Moreno is an independent American country-rock singer-songwriter known for his emotionally honest lyrics and high-energy performances. Originally from Massachusetts, he spent a decade working a corporate sales job before completely shifting gears to build a successful full-time music career in Nashville. To date, he has generated over 50 million global streams and maintained a relentless national touring schedule. Growing up in and around Boston, Massachusetts, Moreno developed a deep passion for music at age 11. He locked himself in his room for hours after school, finding an escape in 1990s and early-2000s alternative rock. He picked up the guitar and spent his teens and early twenties playing lead guitar and singing backup vocals for several local rock bands. Despite writing songs, he struggled with a lack of confidence in his singing and never took the front-man role during this time.
